History

Below you will find a short summary of our history. Over the last 3 decades we have evolved from being a packaging wholesaler in the 1980s and 1990s to currently becoming, a major 'service provider in packaging'.

Bark Verpakkingen was formed in 1978 to handle the sale of Schütz IBCs, steel and plastic drums, all predominantly for liquid products.

Over time, the range was gradually extended to include plastic pails, jerrycans, jars and closures. In 1995 the products offered was further expanded to incorporate tin packaging, pails and UN-approved cardboard packing for transporting hazardous substances.

The packaging product is, and will remain, the cornerstone of our existence. What we add in terms of value is what constitutes our capacity to distinguish ourselves, making us unique as a packaging partner.
